Terms & Conditions
In this document:
‘EGT’ means Ed Grande Tuition.
‘You’ means you or the named parent/guardian for your child on EGT’s register.
‘Your child’ means the child registered with EGT.
1. Lessons
1.1 You should ensure that your child attends their lesson on time.
1.2 You should ensure that your child is in a quiet area and free from distractions.
1.3 You should provide exercise books and stationery for use during the lesson.
1.4 You should be within sight or sound of your child during the lesson.
1.5 You must not record the lessons on any device, under any circumstances. If you/your child records any part of the lesson, your child will be immediately removed from the lesson and the register, and you will also lose your deposit.
2. Missed lessons for group tuition
2.1 You should inform EGT of any lesson that will be missed as soon as possible, at least 48 hours in advance. You notify us by email at info@edgrandetuition.com or by telephone at 020 7237 6874 or 079 4033 5874.
2.2 Missed lessons are non-transferable to the following month/term/year.
2.3 Any missed lesson will not be rearranged; instead, only the workbook will be provided.
2.4 Fees for any missed lesson during the EGT academic year are non-refundable and non-transferable to the following month/term/year.
3. Late attendance & missed lessons for 1-2-1 tuition
3.1 If you anticipate your child being late for a lesson or will be unable to attend, you must inform EGT as soon as possible, at least 48 hours in advance. You can notify us by email at info@edgrandetuition.com or by telephone at 020 7237 6874 or 079 4033 5874.
3.2 Any missed time due to lateness will generally not be made up and the lesson will end at the scheduled time.
3.3 Missed lessons due to late arrival or absence without prior notice will not be rearranged or refunded.
3.4 Fees for any missed lesson during the EGT academic year are non-refundable and non-transferable to the following academic year.
4. Homework
4.1 You should ensure all homework (if provided) is completed and submitted 24 hours before the scheduled lesson to ensure sufficient time is allocated for marking and feedback.
4.2 EGT is not responsible for any failure due to incomplete homework.
5. Photography & other media
5.1 Occasionally, we may record images and videos for educational, promotional and/or media purposes; you can provide/decline consent by completing the multimedia consent form.
5.2 If you have provided consent for EGT to record images and videos for educational, promotional and/or media purposes, you may amend or withdraw your consent at any time by writing to EGT at info@edgrandetuition.com.
6. Tuition fees
6.1 The monthly fees for group tuition are:

£59 per month for 1 club (1 lesson per week)

£79 per month for 2 clubs (2 lessons per week)

£99 per month for 3 clubs (3 lessons per week
6.2 The monthly fee for the 1:1 Academic Ally Programme is £85 per month. This includes one 30-minute 1:1 session per week focused on reinforcing your child’s school learning. Additional weekly sessions are charged at the same monthly rate.
6.3 The monthly fee for the 1:1 Personalised Programme is £150 per month. This includes one 60-minute personalised 1:1 session per week. Additional weekly sessions are charged at the same monthly rate.
6.4 Families currently on a previous 1:1 hourly rate will retain their existing rate until 31 August 2027, after which the updated fees will apply.
7. Payments
7.1 There are different payment plans (monthly, termly, or yearly). Payment must be made in advance as follows:

3rd day of each new month – for monthly payments.

3rd day of each new term– for termly payments.

3rd day of each new year – for yearly payments.
7.2 You can make a payment to EGT by direct debit, bank transfer or PayPal. No other form of payment is accepted.
8. Late payment & removal from the register
8.1 If fees are not received by the 3rd day of each month/term/year, a late payment fee will apply, as follows:

£5 – when fees are paid after the due date.

An additional £5 (total of £10) - when fees are paid after 7 days past the deadline.
8.2 If fees (and late payment fee) are not received 10 days following the deadline, your child will be removed from the register.
9. Gifts, appreciation & feedback
9.1 You must not offer, give, promise, or arrange any gift, cash, voucher, gratuity, or additional payment directly to any tutor, or a member of our team. This applies in all circumstances including (without limitation) during festive periods, at the end of term, or as a gesture of appreciation. This ensures recognition is handled fairly and consistently.
9.2 If you wish to provide feedback or express appreciation, you can do this by sending a message to us by email, text, WhatsApp or through our social media channels. You can also leave a review on Google or Trustpilot.
10. Personal Contact Details & Communication
10.1 Communication with tutors and our team members must take place through our official channels. Tutors and staff are not permitted to share personal telephone numbers, email addresses, or social media details with you or with any student.
10.2 We shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, dispute, safeguarding concern, or service issue arising from communication that takes place outside its authorised channels.
11. Leaving procedure
11.1 If you wish to cancel your membership, you must complete and return the Leaving Notice Form to EGT by the 23rd of the month.
11.2 You can request the Leaving Notice Form by emailing info@edgrandetuition.com.
11.3 If you miss the cut-off date, you will be required to pay the following month’s membership.
12. Zero-tolerance policy
12.1 No form of abuse towards staff or other students will be tolerated.
12.2 If you/your child abuse any staff or students, your child will immediately be removed from the lesson and will also be removed from the register. Fees for any outstanding lessons will not be refunded, and you will lose your deposit. To reregister your child, you must pay the deposit again.
13. Disclaimer
13.1 EGT offers no guarantee of specific results and shall not be held accountable or responsible for the lack of academic success.
13.2 EGT will not be liable for any incidental damages arising from the tuition services provided or any errors or omissions in the content of the tuition materials provided.
13.3 EGT reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time.
